Message from our President
What a fabulous changeover dinner last Saturday night. Great to be able to get together and celebrate what we have achieved over the past two years. Congratulations to all the award winners, thoroughly well deserved.
On a personal note thank you to the club for acknowledging my two years as President, and including Angie also, it was much appreciated by both of us.
So now it’s looking to the future, getting behind President Helen and her team of which I am delighted to be a part. We can make such a big difference to peoples lives!
Regards,
Geoff Gledhill

Our Club meets weekly. It can either be a Zoom meeting, or an "in person" meeting.
Please check details of each week's meeting here or elsewhere in this Bulletin to confirm venue. You are very welcome to join us.
Please note the date of the District 9810 Changeover dinner has been changed to Saturday, 9th July. Details here.

This week's meeting. once again on Zoom was fairly informal with no guest speaker. President Elect Helen Nodrum raised a few matters regarding her upcoming year.
Sue Loeliger was Chair. Members watched a video on a presentation made by Jessie harman at the multi-district conference in May 2021. Jessie is a member of the Rotary Club of Wendouree in Ballarat and will be on the R.I. Board from the next Rotary year on 1 July 2021 Jessie’s presentation is about the future of Rotary and is entitled “ Rotary in the next 100 years.”

Market Report June 20, 2021 RCBMC: POB, Geoff Gartly, Roy Kaplan RCM Andrew Kenny, Jothi Nelson Nomads Robyn Bailey. CMO: Ron Brownlees Reminded the Market Leader that the blue gate at the main entrance on the left hand side looking at the entrance should not be put out. Have lodged formal complaint as this usurps my authority as Marker Leader. Two (2) stalls sold at 7:00am and One (1) half stall for two hours . Number O’night parkers: Stall 12 Kia Reg 1QY 2AO The morning was dark, cold and the stallholders were complaining about where were the pedestrians at 7:30am. There was an increase in pedestrians using QR or for those that could not use there was a paper sign in. The pedestrian traffic increased during the morning and there were about 40 empty stalls. Stall 10 will be absent from the 27/06 until August. Will need the month of August. There were not regular stallholders paying for the month of July. Next week Market Leader will need to inform them of discount for the shut down due to the lockdown. It appears that due to QR there are pedestrians that are busy QR’ing that they omit to place coins in the money spinners - possibly put QR or paper sign in further inside the main entry. People informed that one of the toilets on the right was horrible and that the time allowed inside was challenging - need to review RB. Problem with QR stands - may need sand bags when windy. Wayne lost his table, however I found it and Wayne can pick up the folding table which is in the office.
