Members are invited to visit our local Riding for the Disabled Moorabbin. (Also known as Riding Develops Abilities). RCBMC has proudly supported RDA Moorabbin for many years and recently made a significant donation towards the purchase of a suitable pony for their participants. RDA is a volunteer-run organisation that enables people of all ages and abilities to ride a horse. Some of the benefits for riders being increased physical ability, motor skills, communication and confidence building through an enjoyable outdoor activity. Each year we are invited to see the centre in operation on a Saturday morning and see first hand the impact of our Rotary donation. New members are especially encouraged to attend. Speaker Jennifer Wills
Jen Willis (Australia) — 54, mother and educator from Melbourne, returning to complete the final 848m of Everest after reaching 8,000m in 2023 while living with Multiple Sclerosis
In 2026, Jen will return to Mount Everest to complete what she started—to become the first Australian with MS to reach the summit. And your help is needed…
This isn’t just a physical goal. It’s a story about rising, falling, and rising again. It’s about leadership without ego, courage without bravado, and the quiet strength it takes to try again—publicly, purposefully, and wholeheartedly. This climb isn’t just Jen’s. It’s for every woman who’s been underestimated. For anyone who has had their path interrupted through no fault of their own. Menu TBA
