NORMAL MORNING MEETING THIS WEEK
Meeting This Week - we are at Cilantro 7am for 7.10am start
The meeting will also be available on Zoom - details here

Edition 94 Monday, 19th September 2022

Message from our President

From the Desk of President Margaret
I hope that all of you had a good week despite the weather and your footy team’s win or loss.

The visit from the 9810 District Governor last week was a much needed  “shot in the arm”   He certainly reinforced my confidence that RCBMC is on the right track. In attracting new members, we must be cognizant that we make the club fit the members and not the members fit the club.

Although many members and committees work hard, we should always be open to new and different ideas and ways of doing things. The mindset of “ we have always done it this way” has the potential to leads us into the path of stagnation.

The speaker for this week 21st September has pulled out at short notice because of the public holidays and long weekend. It is fortuitous that we can use the meeting for fellowship and also to discuss what we as a club can do to meet the District 9810 Incentive Rewards Programme. I am confident that we can achieve the required points to be eligible for the rewards offered. However, this requires the commitment of all members and I am sure all of you will step up and meet the challenge.

Update on Regionalisation:-
I wish to inform all members that, on behalf of the club, I have votes “yes” to the regionalisation Pilot Programme.  Thank you for your decision and prompt response.

Have a good week.

Thanks everyone
With every best wishes
President Margaret Mason
