Message from our President

From the Desk of President Margaret

Peter Nolan sent a letter to the Board for discussion and decision.
This was inadvertently distributed to all members. I would like to report that this matter was discussed at the Board meeting. Only Ron Brownlees and Helen Nodrum made some comments. (Please refer to Board minutes for more details). The matter was not resolved and I will inform all members of the outcome when it occurs.

Market Report October 16 2022
Team members: Ian, Helen, Sam and Geoff (and Jenny on second shift) from Moorabbin. Other helpers: Ron Brownlees, of course came along as usual. Thanks for your help Ron.
Pedestrian count 1350 Cars in queue 1 and 1 overnight parker.
Market report: Steady rain early but had ceased by 6.30. The overnight Parker affected a stallholders who had booked 2 spaces together but was accommodated elsewhere using unsold e-tickets. Note, these can be identified by the Unsold Seats report in Try Booking. We were entertained by Pedro on his double bass on site 29.  Overdues from October regulars have now been resolved and a few stallholders were happy to pay for November. The weather cleared by mid morning and pedestrian traffic increased accordingly. Thank you to the team for making the day so enjoyable and hassle free.
