Message from our President
Thanks to everyone who put themselves forward for any of the elected positions within the club.
It is only through the active participation of all members that our club will grow, and grow we must.
Good reports from last Sunday’s market, make sure you enjoy it when you’re on duty, chat to the shoppers and stakeholders, let’s make it Melbourne’s friendliest market.
Efforts are being made for us to get together prior to Christmas however available indoor space is very scarce so we will see where we end up.

Members are reminded that the club's Annual General Meeting will be held this week on Wednesday November 25.

This week's guest speaker was Ken Miriams from District 9810 speaking about Youth Protection. The meeting was jointly chaired by Helen Nodrum and Greg O'Shea, the Club's Youth Protection Officer.
We also welcomed our Assistant Governor, Heather Chisholm, members Julie Reid and Terry Kane (welcome back ladies) and Tony Fritzlaff from Cilantro.
After President Geoff delivered his report, Greg introduced Ken who gave a presentation detailing the importance of compliance in the area of Youth Protection.
In a meeting, participants who wish to address the meeting or ask a question, please use the “Raise Hand” function. Remember to lower it after you have had your turn.

The meeting commenced with John Mason reading 2 poems To the Fallen by R.L. Binyon and In Flanders Fields by J McCrae. Welcome back to Julie Reid. Great you can join us again. Faye Weeks, who has been very industrious during the lockdown, made and sold face masks.
Zoom meeting participants can switch between two views - Gallery, where you see all the attendees and Speaker, where you have a large image of the speaker (at any instant) and a smaller listing of other attendees.

Great team, overcast morning with a late shower about 11.30 encouraging some to leave a bit early. Some new Artisan food vendors. All seemed fairly happy.
New entertainer Arty del Rio from Peru on board and joined by a young violinist for the more classical side.
