Message from our President

From the Desk of President Margaret

Erratum
It has been pointed out to me by the Chair of Youth and Vocational  committee that my summary of their activities and plans contained an error.
I reported that RCBMC will be participating in the Rotary 4 way test speaking competition. This is incorrect. The decision of the committee is NOT to participated. I apologise for this miscommunication.

This week in RCBMC
Following my previous messages in the Bulletin, I have met with and received feedback on issues within the club. I have therefore decided that we should devote one meeting to discuss these issues. This will occur at our breakfast meeting on 14th September. A summary of the comments received will be sent out to all members and you are encouraged to attend the meeting to provide more information and to indicate your willingness to be involved.

Please note that the District Governor’s visit to the club is on 7th September.
I am sure that he will give us more information on what is happening in the District and RI, which will assist us in planning for our club’s future.
Thanks everyone
With every best wishes
President Margaret Mason

I am pleased to say the projector has arrived and we have used it for the first Expo we have attended in a few years . I have attached the good news story above for the team . However, I would like on Behalf of Marriott to invite to view the projector working its magic at the day program (Wheatley Rd)at your convenience.
Please let me know when is most suitable to attend and I will arrange.
Thank you to Rotary once again – this has made a large impact on our community and will continue to do so for many years, I am sure.

Finally the weather was on our side. Cold but clear skies. 30% stallholders capacity on the day...pedestrian flow slow but steady. Casual stallholders on 21 paid for next week. If anyone finds a lost hearing aid phone number in office for the owner to let them know Stall NO. 113 wishes to go to a casual booking approach not permanent. Once the sun came out at 11am pedestrian flow picked up. Well done to the team, happy market with no issues.
