The Market will be CLOSED this coming Sunday. We will re-open when restrictions allow. The Club is currently trying to return to meetings in person but venues vary each week. Please confirm venue below or via the website here.

Message from our President
Well, here we go again fellow members. Victoria in lockdown - and who can know for how much longer? The numbers today appear to be improving but we need to prepare to be in lockdown beyond this week. Our Club has coped quite well in lockdown and will continue to do so. Meetings can still proceed on Zoom but unfortunately our Market must close. Please keep in contact with each other and family and other friends. Many have health concerns and need our support.
Our Changeover is still planned to be going ahead on the 19th of June so i encourage you to book with Helen Nodrum as soon as possible. Likewise District Changeover is still expected top happen on the 26th.
See you in the morning on Zoom at 7.30 although I know Ian kicks off the meeting at 7.15. Meeting details here.
Regards,
Geoff Gledhill
Meeting this week
This week will be a Zoom meeting, details here. Unfortunately our guest speaker from Men's Shed has had to be postponed to a late date. We still hope to have a guest speaker - he or she will be a surprise guest. Also, have a look at the article below on subscribing to our Events Calendar. Have all events update directly to your phone.

Our Club meets weekly. It can either be a Zoom meeting, or an "in person" meeting.
Please check details of each week's meeting here or elsewhere in this Bulletin to confirm venue. You are very welcome to join us.
District 9810 Assembly has been held over the last two weekends and I had the privelege of attending and actually convening one session. Of course, it had to be conducted on-line via Zoom.
If any other members attended, please add your comments at the foot of this story.
The meeting was held on ‘Zoom’, and Larry Green was Chair.
Guest speaker was David Burt from Sport And Life Training (SALT), which is a not for profit organisation. It receives significant support from Bendigo Bank and some Rotary Clubs.
Julie Dockrill, recipient of Rotary’s People of Action: Champions of Health, led a team of midwives in training health care professionals as part of a comprehensive well-being program that’s saving mothers and babies
In 2007, Agnes Kiraithe was invited to speak at the Rotary Club of Muthaiga, in Nairobi. At the time, Kiraithe was the chief administrator of what is now the Kenya Children’s Home, and she had come to talk about the organization, which takes in orphaned children from around the city. After her presentation, she looked around the club.
