Members Linda O'Brien, Helen Parker and myself attended the annual End Polio fundraiser last Thursday evening at the Saigon Rex Restaurant in Springvale.We were accompanied by Rotarian PDG Bob Richards from the Sandringham RC.
As usual, it was a most colourful affair very well attended by Rotarians, friends of Rotary and amny local dignitaries.
Springvale City is certainly is a club that is well connected to its community.
They raised, somewhere of the order of $25,000 on the and associated fundraising efforts.
It would be terrific if perhaps more of our members might consider attending next year.
