Club members Linda O'Brien and Ian Ballantine attended the RC Springvale City Polio fundraising event at the SAIGON REX Restaurant . (We also took along PDG Bob Richards of the Sandringham RC.)The event was attended by DG Colin Byron and Leanne along with many local dignitaries. The Club is to be commended for the degree to which it has connected to their local community.
This night never disappoints! Always a night of colour, noise and generosity towards End Polio.
Funds raised on the evening brings the Club's efforts over the years to in excess of $100,000.
The RC of Springvale should be commended for their great effort under the leadership of joint Presidents Angelina Colombino and Cathy Jackson. Not bad for a Club of only 20 membrs!
A number of Paul Harris Fellows were awarded on the evening.
