A renewed partnership to help more children across the Pacific access the specialist care they need.
Interplast and Rotary Oceania Medical Aid for Children (ROMAC) have signed a new MOU,  strengthening how our organisations work together to identify and support children who are not able to access life-saving surgery in their home countries.
Newly appointed ROMAC Chair John Lawrence and current Chair Peter Garnett MBE met with Interplast CEO Misha Coleman to formalise this continued partnership.
Through this agreement, Interplast and ROMAC can refer patients to one another for assessment and specialist consultation, drawing on our respective expertise and connections to help each child reach the most appropriate pathway to care.
ROMAC is a project of Rotary Clubs in Australia and New Zealand, bringing together volunteers, medical professionals and communities to facilitate medical treatment for children across Oceania. Like Interplast, its work is made possible with the valued support of Rotary.
By working more closely together, we can make the most of our shared networks and help achieve the best possible outcomes for children and their families.
