This is just a brief report regarding the District Conference held this past weekend in Bendigo.It was attended by members President Tim, (with Angela), Karin Soster (with Gary), Peter and Linda O'Brien, Ian Ballantine and Helen Parker and Bert d'Unienville.

The conference kicked off with a cocktail party on Friday evening followed by Club dinners. We were joined by 6 members from the Sandringham Rotary Club including Past DG's Bob Richards and Ian Riseley. We had our dinner at the Brougham Arms Hotel. This was also our accommodation as arranged by Karin. Great job Karin - the rooms were clean, comfortable and great value and the dinner excellent. I'm sure we would all be happy to stay there again.
Plenary sessions commenced at 9am on Saturday and proceeded throughout the day until 4pm when we returned to our Hotel for a bit of a relax until we headed off to the gala dinner. The theme was Rotary Rocks so we put on our special t-shirts and returned to Red Arena for the evening. We were joined by Jane Mulcahy from the Moorabbin RC.
