The meeting was held on Zoom.24 members participated, and PDG Alma Reynolds also joined in the meeting.
It was a club forum to discuss the results of the members survey conducted a couple of months ago. Jo chaired the meeting and welcomed PDG Alma and members. She thanked Peter Nolan for summarising the results.
Larry Green then went through the results which had been sent to all members. This was followed by a general discussion. PDG Alma offered some suggestions.
A sergeant’s session followed. Following the “retirement” of Tony Ryan as assistant sergeant, some members hoped that the races will never again be referred to for fines. However, John Mason decided to “exhume” this practice and fined members by referencing entrants in the recent Bendigo Cup meeting. This received the thumbs down from some members and John reluctantly agreed not to do it again.
