CLUB ANNOUNCEMENTS - President Tim
- Club Changeover - a reminder to everyone of the Club Changeover on Saturday 28 June.  Tim thanked Linda for issuing the invitations to everyone - and invited everyone to please respond as soon as possible.  RSVP Linda O'Brien or via Registration on the club website.
- Board Meeting - the next board meeting will be held on Tuesday 10/6 at Tim's home at 7.30pm as per usual.
- Club Excellence Award - Tim had the pleasure of receiving a District 9815 Club Excellence Award on behalf of the club at the last President's meeting.
- Guest Speaker - unfortunately our guest speaker for today, club member Bert d'Unienville, is not available following a mishap with his car when returning from his holidays.   Bert has been rescheduled to speak at the club meeting on 11/6.  Consequently, Tim invited PDG Ian  to provide more information on our Club website and the Club Runner App.
GUEST SPEAKER - PDG Ian Ballantine
Firstly, a big thank you to Ian for stepping up to fill the gap for today's guest speaker - we can all always learn more about our Club website  and the Club Runner App and how to use them efficiently.
Ian spends many hours updating and maintaining the club website for everyone's benefit, but needs everyone's assistance with stories and photos to upload to keep the website content current and appeal to readers.
Members can assist by forwarding to Ian any Rotary stories of interest supplemented with photos.  Rotary stories include attending Rotary events and Bentleigh Market attendance (this should happen each week with photos taken by one of the team and forwarded to Ian).  Instructions for photos for uploading appear on the club website.  .
Club Runner App - Ian recommends everyone to download the Club Runner App onto their mobile for quick and easy access to the club website.  The usage experience of the App has improved since it was first launched, and is an excellent reference source for locating information about the district, other clubs and its members, in addition to seeing the club bulletin. club meeting reports, club events, and registering attendance/non attendance at club events etc.
Ian will provide further information on the club website for how to download and use the App.
Club Bulletins - statistics show that only 35% of our club members open the club bulletin when issued each week.  Since bulletins link to information that is readily available on the club website, Ian is seeking for a better way than needing to issue the bulletin each week.

Ian finished by reminding everyone to Register their club meeting attendance or non attendance on the Club website or via the Club Runner App.
