Linda O'Brien chaired today's meeting at Aila once again - for our second meeting at this venue during the current school holidays. Another lovely breakfast was enjoyed by all despite the very crisp and cool morning. These informal meetings away from Cilantro are very enjoyable and provide great opportunities to catch up with our club members and chat about anything and everything. President Grant announced the following:
i) Board Meeting - was held on Monday 7/7, however as this was the first board meeting of the year with committees only just getting together, topics for discussion was minimal.
ii) 2025-2026 Club Member Subscriptions - this year's subscription will have a small increase to $300 which is up from $285 last year. Invoices will be issued to club members soon.
iii) Club Committees - the make up of this year's club committees was emailed to all club members on 24/6. The committee makeup is also available on the club website under the Member Area/Organisation/Committees. Click on the committee name for the list of members on the committee.
iv) Next week's club meeting will be back at Cilantro. PDG Ian is checking for a guest speaker.
Linda held another fun Quiz today - for members to identify the owner of leadership quotes made by famous people. Guest Gary Ramage won the quiz and a bottle of wine for the cellar!
After breakfast, the quiz, and a bit more of chat - the meeting came to a close all too quickly.
