Our annual changeover this year was held at the Rossdale Golf Club on the evening of June 27, 2026This event marked the end of President Grant's term and the commencement of President Neville Kruss's year.

- The Honorable Tim Wilson, Federal Member for the Victorian Electorate of Goldstein since 2025 and from 2016 to 2022. He currently holds the position of Shadow Treasurer.

- Past Rotary International President, and Past District Governor, Ian Riseley and Past District Governor Juliet Riseley

Toasts were proposed by MC Ian Ballantine. District Governor, Peter Behm responded on behalf of Rotary International
Tim Wilson addressed the audience with most warm and sincere talk about community, volunteerism and a number of social issues facing us. We were very grateful to have Tim join us on the night.

The changeover ceremony was conducted by Past Rotary International President, and Past District Governor, Ian Riseley who spoke very warmly of our Club. We were very honoured to have Ian, and Juliet attend.

CLUB CHANGEOVER - Saturday 27 June 2026
Club members, partners, family and invited guests had a wonderful time to see out the end of the Rotary year and the end of Grant Perry's reign as President and welcome in the new one with incoming President Neville Kruss. It was a fabulous evening at Rossdale Golf Club on Saturday 27 June 2026, with excellent food, music, and conviviality. PDG Ian Ballantine did a wonderful job as Emcee for the evening. Special guests included DG 9815 Peter Behm, Past RI President Ian Riseley, PDG Juliette Riseley, PDG Bob Richards, the Hon. Tim Wilson MP, Grant Holland , CEO of the Holland Foundation, Marg Maher, PE for Moorabbin R.C. and club members of Moorabbin MC. My sincere apologies if I have missed anyone.
Ian performed the toast to Rotary International and The Rotary Foundation, followed by a response from PDG Peter Behm.
A special address was delivered by the Hon. Tim Wilson, MP who was invited to speak about the importance of volunteerism. He spoke about the opportunities Rotary provides to make connections with local communities and how this builds trust and the difference that can be made with lasting impact.
President Grant reflected on his year as President. He thanked the board and members for their support and commitment during the year and said it was an honour to have represented the club as President. He thanked Linda for her guidance and assistance throughout the year, and presented gifts to both Linda and Secretary Karin for their support.
PDG Ian Riseley performed the President citation to induct Neville Kruss as our new club president. Gifts, lapel badges and certificates were presented. Neville thanked the club for selecting him as their incoming president saying this was an honour bestowed upon him and will do his best to uphold the ideals of Rotary. A special thank you to Linda O'Brien who once again did a superlative job of arranging the changeover dinner, with venue and menu selection, invitations, and table decorations and all the 'behind the scenes' activities associated with the event..
No changeover event occurs without the presentation of Paul Harris Fellow recognitions, and this evening was no exception. PDG Ian explained the awarding of PHF recognition and the prestige and esteem value under which these are held. The following club members were recognised with PHF - Tim Lynch, Marg Lucas, Terry Kane, and Greg O'Shea. One further PHF was presented to Grant Holland - CEO of the Holland Foundation. Congratulations to all - well deserved recognitions.
These formalities concluded the evening events. A special mention of Bradley Marshall, who once again provided excellent background music throughout the evening. Club members and guests continued to mingle and chat before leaving after a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
