The purpose of our trip has been to visit two schools which we have supported and also the local hospital in Savu Savu to see how we can help them. In addition, when we return to Nadi member Paul Ferguson has arranged a visit to the local hospital which will be hosting a future Interplast visit. Refer earlier story on Interplast here.

Members on our trip are Peter and Linda O'Brien, Jo Impey, Paul Ferguson, Helen Parker and Ian Ballantine.
We have spent our first few days in Savu Savu and the two schools and hospital have all been within an hours drive. We also had the great pleasure of enjoying a morning tea at the Urata Lookout cafe which our club also helped fund.
We have been looked after so well by members of the Savu Savu Rotary Club. Refer here for website. Tonight, Saturday will be our last night on the island and we are meeting up for dinner with 9 of the members of the Club..
I will try to post another update in a few days. We, as a team, will provide a brief update to members at the meeting on the 7th but, as a group have decided to utilise the evening meeting of the 29th to provide a more detailed presentation which will not only tell of our travels but also talk about the opportunities for our Club in providing ongoing support to the region.
Here are a few pics. Very difficult to upload more from here.
Regards from all of us.
